코로나바이러스의 기원

우한 폐렴을 일으키는 신종 코로나바이러스(SARS-CoV-2, 이전 이름 2019 novel coronavirus, 2019-nCoV)가 어디로부터 왔는지 아직도 정확히 밝혀지지 않았다. 우한 바이러스 연구소(Wuhan Institute of Virology)에서 만들어진 것이 아닌가 하는 의심은 점점 더 강해지는 것으로 보인다.

우한 폐렴 발원지는 우한바이러스연구소

우한 폐렴 발원지는 우한바이러스연구소라는 의견이 대세로 되어가고 있다. 연구소에서 생물무기로 개발한 것이라기 보다는 연구원이 박쥐로부터 바이러스에 최초로 감염되어 퍼지게 된 것이라는 설명이다. 특히 박쥐의 코로나 바이러스를 연구하던 스정리(Shi Zhengli, 石正麗) 박사의 연구실에서 시작된 것으로 추정한다. 중국이 자세한 내막을 알면서도 고의로 은폐하는 것도 강한 의구심을 불러일으키고 있다. 처음에 우한의 수산물 시장에서 퍼졌다는 말이 나온 것도 진실을 은폐하기 위한 것으로 보인다.

Biaer explained that the virus was naturally occurring and not man-made.
"They believe that this Shi Zhengli(石正麗), who was working in the Wuhan Virology Lab, was essentially working on antiviral and immunization efforts. That's what our sources are saying. That's what matches some of the reports that were out from the University of South China and others, that there were efforts to study these viruses in that very lab," Baier said. "And basically, [they believe] that the non-man-made part is pointing specifically to the genetic mapping of this virus right now and that it hopped from an animal to human. And it was not altered in its genetic sequence."

U.S. officials and the intelligence community have confirmed to Fox News that they have taken the possibility of the coronavirus being man-made or engineered inside China as some sort of bioweapon off the table and have ruled it out at this point.

Sources point to the structure of the virus, in saying the genome mapping specifically shows it was not genetically altered. The sources believe the initial transmission of the virus was a naturally occurring strain that was being studied there -- and then went into the population in Wuhan.

Sources say the investigation of open source and classified data points to the work in the lab of Dr. Shi Zhengli(石正麗), who was working on antivirals and immunizations for coronavirus, specifically with bats.

코로나 바이러스의 구조를 볼 때 우한 바이러스연구소에서 만들어낸 것은 아니고, 연구원이 박쥐의 바이러스를 연구하다 최초로 감염된 후 퍼져나간 것으로 추정하고 있다.
